I am a student who is starting clinicals tomorrow. I don't have a spleen. Should I be concerned about MRSA. Also how safe is my 15 month old grandson if he comes in contact with me?

If you wash your hands well, and freuqently, you will cut down your chances for getting that or anything else.

If you have been in contact with an infected person, you may wish to shower before playing with your grandchild. Not any different from what the rest of us do.:)

At least in the hospital you KNOW what you're dealing with. In the mall, it's another story!
