Hi! I am posting this in the General Nsng forum in hopes that I would get more responses...

I am presently working in peds home care. My client is a 5yo non-verbal, autistic boy who is also a very brittle diabetic. He is not yet potty trained (we have other issues to work on first before tackling that). Mom is paying for diapers out of pocket. We all know how expensive diapers can be. Well, the only diapers he can use are the "overnight" diapers because they hold a lot more urine than regular diapers. AND needs to wear them 24/7, not just o/n. Being diabetic, he is dry one minute and the floodgates open the next. Needless to say, he goes thru a lot of these Pullups Goodnights a day.

To get to the point (sorry)... I am searching for any info on companies that sell "overnight" strength (?) pull-ups so that we can try to order them thru her insurance.

Any info would be extremely appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks!!!

Enter medical supplier overnight diapers in GOOGLE.

There is a forum for rett's syndrome children that has some practical suggestions. http://www.rettsyndrome.org/digests/00138.htm

Also there are several commercial sites that say they bill insurance/medicaid.

I found an incontinence forum that has ratings of the various diapers. http://www.incontinencesupport.org/chapter8.htm
