Mental Health First Act of 2015

Hello! I been reading about the Mental Health First Act of 2015. Overall The Mental Health First Aid Act of 2015 would fund training programs offered to emergency services personnel, teachers, school administrators, nurses, police officers to assist and respond to individuals suffering from mental crisis in appropriate manner. Does anyone the implications for the nursing profession besides having the nurses complete these programs?

Well, first it would have to pass Congress. It failed in 2013. The 2015 version is still in committee. It's got a long way to go, but the full text is available for anyone who wants to read it.
