Hello! I been reading about the Mental Health First Act of 2015. Overall The Mental Health First Aid Act of 2015 would fund training programs offered to emergency services personnel, teachers, school administrators, nurses, police officers to assist and respond to individuals suffering from mental crisis in appropriate manner. Does anyone the implications for the nursing profession besides having the nurses complete these programs?

Hello! I am currently a high school senior who has been recently accepted into the nursing program at both Adelphi University and Molloy College. Although both schools are known to have strong programs, I am extremely anxious to make a decision. I have visited both schools, but never got to ask how the students really felt about the programs. If anyone has any advice or input about their personal experiences, good and bad, at either or of the schools, it would really help me make a decision. Thanks!
