I'm a newly registered nurse and looking forward working in NKTI. But unfortunately, i saw a post about their qualifications for nurses. They said you should have at least 6 months experience to a 150 bed capacity hospital. :(

So now, i think i need to look for another ..any suggestions? or any suggested trainings for nurses? thank you :)

Specializes in critical care, ER,ICU, CVSURG, CCU.

Keep positive, and continue to pursue the most appropriate opportunities....

? Do you have any significant clinical experiences while you were working as a student, that could be considered a referral or resource for an opportunity.....

best wishes

Specializes in PACU.

I'd apply anyway. If they don't have applicants with all the qualifications they are looking for they'll have to look at others. And some companies post preferred qualifications. Look at preferred certifications and get the ones that you can (like PALS/ACLS). It'll make you more appealing for any employer.

Also keep looking, try residency programs, LTC and home health/hospice as an area that normally will hire new grads as a way of getting your feet wet, so to speak.

I've been rotated into the different corners of the hospital but then again it's such a hard time finding a job here in the Philippines. Thank you by the way :)

I'm already done with my BLS and ACLS and about to take the IVT training on the 10th day of august, because they are requiring us here to have at least such. I've been looking for other trainings here but since i live in the province you have a few chances. I just hope someone can help me out :( thank you by the way :*
