Out of curiousity, I looked on Ebay, and I was disappointed at how much some folks are charging for something that was meant to raise awareness, and money, for a cause. As we are now seeing with the Tsunami disaster (incidentally, you can red bracelets for that one), there are people who have pure intentions...then there are the buttholes out there who are scamming off the generousity of others. :angryfire

as an oncology rn, i have seen those bright yellow bracelets worn by my co-workers and i wear one myself. i feel proud that we are supporting a good cause as healthcare workers....there is yellow for gen. cancer and there are pink ones for breast cancer (which u can now get @ target stores).they are generally a $1.00 each on the website (or u get bunch if u make a donation on the website).
now i am seeing/hearing little kids and even grown adults charging $10-$20 for their own profits because it is a trend!!! i know that there is a 2 week wait on the website, but does that give people a right to make a profit by their own means because it a so-called trend or because jay leno was seen wearing one on his wrist on his show when cancer-survivor lance armstong appeared?
even other hollywood actors were seen wearing them.
inputs anyone?
