Ok here's the deal. I have an assessment test to take for a urgent care position that Im interested in. I AM SEVERELY WEAK in my dosage calculations ie. grams to milli/micro, kg to lbs etc. I found this out the hard way 2 weeks ago when I was sent an assessment from major company, I took the 2 part assessment, failed it miserably and blew my chances at 5 fulltime positions that I cant apply for again or with the company for 6 MONTHS! I want to take the assessment but don't want to wait too long. I AM SCARED TO DEATH because I don't want to be shut out of another opportunity. Ive been looking for a table to help me but I cant find one. I used to have a great one from a prealgebra class that started with "k" on the left, "G" in the middle, and I believe it ended with micro 6 spaces to the right. This is so embarrassing to admit. I work in ltc, I hardly use dosage calculations that are pretty simple. We don't convert kg to lbs , calculate drip factors, ml/hr; its all stated in the orders or calculated by the pharmacy and programmed into the iv pump (if your lucky to have them supplied); otherwise, we just use a dial-a-flow meter. Its not that I cant do it because I CAN, I JUST DON'T REMEMBER AND I NEED A CRASH COURSE STAT! I've had the assessment in my email for about 3 days and I wanna complete it ASAP.

You just need to remember the formulas

Go on amazon and look for a nursing drug calcs textbook

You would also find all the conversions/equivalencies in your old chemistry and bio texts.
