Dec 14, '01Hey, all!!!!! Grouchy, you don't sound grouchy at all!!!!! Isn't this bb great. Site great!!!!!
I am in decision making of do I stay or do I move, related to work situation. Change within facility I am in but to different unit/speciality. Many factors. Should love to come into work at least 95.9% of your days.
Hang in Grouchy, and all!!!!!
Dec 14, '01Thanks for all the replies. I was so excited to see that my post has been read by nurses from all over the U.S., Canada, England, and even the Phillipines! Amazing. I feel like some geeky kid with a new pen pal.
Several people said I don't sound grouchy. Luckily for you guys, I don't post (or do anything I don't have to do) when I'm tired. When I'm tired I'm grouchy. And, after a year on the night shift, I'm pretty tired.
Fortunately, I go to the day shift soon. (Unfortunately, I have to rotate to nights). For now I remain pale, irritable, slovenly, sluggish Grouchy.

I love it here too. I just finished my NA course and have my state exam tomorrow. Then I can start my pre-req's. I find everyone here so inspiring and usually helpful. Its nice to see other students that are going through the same things. It gets really tuff sometimes!
But I wish everyone all the luck in the world!

Jan 1, '02Yes I do agree with all you said! This site is one of the million things we should be proud of. as a NURSE. With a multi-task that is put on our shoulder,@ least we can still afford to participate with all the issues that face nurses today. (i think it is one great talent we nurses have- TIME MANAGEMENT)
I've been part of the silent majority for a long time, but then it's just recently that i decided to let my presence felt!
