A friend posed this thought to me. Am I in equilibrium. Are you. Always jokin' that I am in flux, but what is flux.........

Actually, and my A&P days behind me, but body and mind in homeostasis. Holistic nursing getting the patient to their optimum level of health, or homeostasis.

Equilibrium, yes, I just may be.......Doesn't mean I am a rock, but it means that I am viable, my ions, positive and negative are in correct proportion and my chemical makeup is all right...............

and if change occurs that adaption takes place, something shifts to establish equilibrium again......................

but then again.....................

this is micro with :p :p :p stickin' out to the world.............

any thoughts, takers or am I just out there equalizing in my y own elements..........either way

none of us are rocks(and rocks are pretty cool-----never know what you find inside):stone :stone :stone

When I am at peace.. the inner me.. I am balanced.. that is what I strive for.. Everything I do inbetween of that time is in attempting to become one with the Universe.. does that answer it my dear micro?

thx nightingale.......

that is the direction I lean also.....know you gotta have some of the other too, but that inner peace...........balance...........

yes, dear friend.......I am in equilibrium...........99.9%

I like being at inner peace with myself. Any turmoil to rock the boat in my world causes hormonal city to explode, then I retreat to find solace once again in my Heavenly Father's Loving Arms. ;)

Adapting to one's environment when change is inevitable does make one more capable of sailing their own ship in the midst of any storm that may arise, but I can only do this with my Heavenly Father's great sense of direction and all knowing knowledge that no human being will ever have...not in this life. ;)

thx renee.....for the input and your insight.........

balance, equilibrium.............

being holistic and keeping the body in homeostasis.........

inner peace......yes, I am cut that way, but I also fantastic voyage my imagination through the body thinkin about all the chemical, fluid, and ionic activity occuring.................pretty cool.............

micro take on the world;-/

Equalibrium applies to the physical self. You know: DNA, mRNA, the mitochondria (cells), positive and negative entropy, osmosis, elements, covalent and ionic bonds, electricity, all that which make us alive.

Homeostasis can be applied to a mental state, and it's interesting you make the comparison (if that is what your doing). Events, memories, ingested chemicals, beliefs, fears, secrets, entropy....can all apply to your mental equlibrium just as the above mentioned ones apply to your physical equlibrium. The mental "x & y" variations are difficult to understand, unlike the physical ones, which are pretty much uniform processes for all humans. They all, however, are inter-related (conscious).

A diabetic may have feelings which arise from their condition. A person may have physical problems from stress. Mind and body are one. This is old hat, but worth rehashing, to gain perspective.

It's popular, and dangerous, for folks to create discontinuous functions in their mind, and then apply them to their own mental equalibrium. Examples of this would be a superstition or a belief in the unknown. It's fine if you keep these thoughts as thoughts, but often, folks will throw your equalibrium off kilter because theirs is off kilter. Like a spinning top, one that is wobbling might throw others off, if their spinning velocity is not going fast enough. Real, and honest equilibrium is your bestest friend :-0

thx mario:stone :kiss :p :kiss

equilibrium.......yes is physical in the nature of the ?????, but mind/brain and body are one.......the X & Y of the mental equilibrium are harder to define and discuss as it is a bit "grey matter".........

if dna, rna, ionic activity, hormonal balance, etc(you phrased it better than I).........are in balance........then the rest should come into play.....but that old x & y.............

explain discontinous functions in their mind????? think I get it, but not sure.........

I agree, I can think anything if it is only a thought, but if it becomes stronger than that.....then is discontinous and can downright disable then mind.....

mental equilibrium is as important and possibly even more important that physical equilibrium or at least =========

micro(whoa.....first time I spoke in third person here)agree.........

micro is micro bestest friend.....cause micro take care of micro first and micro' equlibrium okay on all fronts and planes..............

and the vote keeps going.......I am waiting for the one that says don't care micro go to work.........:p :p :p

:imbar :stone :zzzzz

course micro can't spell check herself
