In February, "won the prize" to attend HIPAA training due to computer expertise. Found myself later solo performing my agency's HIPAA Privacy review and compiling report using many forms and spreedsheets to document assessment.
While trying to type outline of this 21 page report, kept getting Word error messages and fatal faults. Have had problem off and on over past two month with many IT calls.
Outcome: Network engineering officially declared Word dead yesterday and have work order to re-install Microsoft office.
First time I've been accused of causing a death while on-duty as RN.

Don't blame yourself, sweetie. It's NOT your fault. I'm sure your Word had a long and productive life. Nobody expects MS products to run well or for very long. You might end up having to reinstall the whole operating system.
Just be glad to know that it gave its life working on Government regulations!
Love
