I found this really neat 3:1 tool that is a pr of scissors, clamp and it was curved further inside the clamp so you could unscew IV tubings that were too tight. I loved my speciality tool, but I lost it in a room and now it's gone.:crying2: It looked like clamps until you opened them.

I contacted the store I got them from and they don't carry them any longer nor do they know the brand. I can't remember as it was a year ago.

If anyone has something like this, can you tell me where you got it, name, etc??

I have spent too much time too. Sounds like a great instrument though.

Is this it?

Standard Gripsors - Nursing Scissors - Nursing Instruments - Shop by Category

No, as they aren't hemostats on the front. But...I'm looking at those for a grip replacement and that hook thing is kinda cool. If mine ever show up, I'm going to take a picture of them and paste it here.

I found them at this obscure uniform store in the clearance bin for 10 bucks. I actually went back to get a few pair for gifts for my nursing buddies, but they were all gone by then, and the person didn't even know the name of the company that made them. This gives me an idea though...maybe the owner will know and I can contact the vendor...
