No way, you must stand up for yourself and in doing so you will also be standing up for other nurses. You are so lucky to have a union to back you, good luck and keep us posted.

The evidence must be in the records of who worked where, and when. Ask the DON if she can explain to you how her system operates, as you seem to be doing more than is fair, under the union agreement. That seems a reasonable approach, evidence based, and carrying the implication that the union may be involved if her answer is not to your liking!

Look at floating as an opportunity to learn something new. Suck it up, there are more important problems in the world. You might just enjoy yourself if you change your attitude.
