From an RDH to an RN

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hi everyone! :)

I am an RDH (registered dental hygienist) with 9 yrs. exp., and I am planning on starting nursing school within the next couple years (ADN/RN program). Unfortunately, I am going to have to re-take all my Anat./Phys. and Microbio. classes, but I know the review is necessary.

Two questions:

*Is anyone here an RN in Albuquerque, NM? (I posted this at the NM forum and have gotten zero replies.)

*Does anyone know any RN's who are also hygienists?

Glad to be here! I'm learning A LOT!!

Hi there,

I am in the process of deciding RDH or RN. I think I am going towards RN. I noticed your question and on the RDH website AmyRDH there are a few RDH/RN. You might want to check it out. Good Luck with school and hope it all works out.

I am a RDA looking for a new career.

Michelle,

Check your PM.

I'm an RDA and decided to go for RN. I know a few RDH's who turned to RN after a few years (burnt out!)

Good luck!
