Fainted from a shot

Nurses General Nursing

Today I needed to get a physical done prior to attending my nursing school. A PA did my physical and everything came back good. They said I needed to get a chicken pox shot as I had only had one and the new standard is two. I've had numerous injections before, and I've been admitted to hospitals before. I've never had a problem with blood or needles, but as soon as the nurse giving me the injection finished up, I felt very light headed and ended up passing out for about 10-15 seconds. Like I said I've never had a problem before, what could have caused this? I'll also add that I had a busy morning and overlooked eating breakfast.
