seems some people might find that a little invasive when you think about how many people you interact w/ on a personal and impersonal level day in and day out.

Hi guys I have been reading your post about id badges... I was just wondering can we scan our id badge on facebook? you know just kind of a little proud that I got into this hospital I don't know if that's allowed or I maybe cited for that... hope to hear your advice on that :)
I wouldn't do it. I don't even list my place of employment. Read the social media policy. It's quite "enlightening"

Yes, and I've never understood why nurses get so worked up about patients knowing their first and last names. Doctors, PAs, and APNs don't seem to mind.
Yes, I've noticed that some nurses just tend to go batcrap over this. But over time I noticed it's the same nurses who go batcrap over every single thing anyway.
