Do you carry personal liability insurance?

After working a job for the last couple of years where I was "sort of litigation free"(military contract, non-hospital, while husband was stationed overseas), I am headed back into the civilian world and am wondering if I need to pick up a personal liability policy?

What do you think? Do you have a policy? Does it make me more liable to be sued?

Thanks!

I was going to ask the same question, who do you get this insurance through?

As a CNA, should I carry it too?

Thanks!

Go to HPSO. Along with NSO (the largest insurer of nurses), they insure many disciplines of Health Care Providers.

You can go here, to HPSO for insurance as a CNA: https://www.hpso.com/quick-quote/page1.jsf - on #2; click the drop down menu for instant free quote for Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide.

Yes, it would be wise to carry this as a CNA.;)
