Hey there. I am thinking about travel nursing once i've gotten 1 year experience. What website are you referring too??
  2. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This post did make me feel much better!! I have been an RN for about 6 months now on a busy PCU/stepdown cardiac unit and have really struggled at times (howwver, not anything like some of your stories!!) but have been "eaten like young" and hated my new career often too!! I have often wondered why the hell i choose this career!! thanks for the upbeat message. it has gotten better and i know it will continue!!
  3. Thanks for the great info!!! Just what I was looking for!!
  4. I have the same concerns as I am a new nurse. Any recommedations on what company to go through? I live in Alabama...does it matter or should I just go thru a nationwide co.?? Thanks!!
  5. just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the great advice and support. i am new to this website and not quiet sure how to respond to all post/respones. plus, this is my last semester....i barely have time to breathe!!!! thanks!:heartbeat:bow:
  6. i will also be graduating in may 09 and had the opportunity to do the hurst review last august, and will be able to sit thru it again in may ( once you pay for it, you can take the live review as many times as it is offered). it was a bit overwhelming back in august but also helpful. i think it will be very helpful to take it again in may. good luck!!
  7. hi there. i am going to be graduating in may and am begining to put together my resume. i was told not to put down my clinical rotations as experience by an instructor, however, that is the only experience i have except for the nursing assistant position that i have been working at since oct. of 2008. i have alot of other job experiences in various fields but none of it relates to nursing other than the customer service aspects. does anyone have any advice on what i should do? put down clinical experience from school? put down those jobs that aren't related to nursing? HELP!! i am trying to get an paid internship position as an RN in a state different from where i live and with no "connections" so my resume is all i have to try and snag an interview...thanks
