Cost and info about urine drug screen test?

At my job, we had missing hydrocodone.:o Everyone involved had to get a Ten Panel- EDS50. It included an opiate screen. However, on the back of the lab sheet there was a box marked alternate opiates-hydrocodone, oxycodone, and hydromorphone specifically. None of us had that box checked for these alternate opiates. Did management waste their money since no one was specifically tested for hydrocodone? How much do you think it cost my employer per person to do these ten panel tests? Thanks so much for any information.;)

Makes no sense to do that unless someone comes up positive for opiates. Then the specific test can be run. This is actually norm.

Thanks TazziRN. They found that one of the med aides was positive for morphine.
