compression wraps to arms

Again, I look to those of you who've helped in those of us in need.

I have to do a demo of a compression wrap for an arm. Pt is dx w/cellulitis and lymphedema. I know how to do a "normal" wrap, but I'm curious as to whether or not a wrap for cellulitis of the arm is done differently than those normal wound wraps. I guess what I'm asking is is there a different style/way of putting it on?

I;ve done many searches on the internet and keep coming up the same things. They don't SHOW how the wrap is done.

Is there anyone who can point me to a site that might show how its done. or "talk' me through it.

Thanks so much.

I would think that you would want to stimulate venuos return, so the only thing I can think is that you make sure you start distally and move proximal.

Yes...start distally first then work your way back up. It does do very great job, as well.
