Checking your own records with the stateRegister Today!
- by Sadiewrap May 12, '10I have checked my record with the state that I live in.
I was wondering if there is any way of checking your records from other states you
have lived in during years past and how many years back they are available.
Can an employer look into your job history from another state from years ago
if they want to?

Just about any reputable company will do a background check on their employees, especially in the nursing field. And yes they do have the ability to find out where you have worked in the past, no matter if it was out of state or even out of the country.
