I have one question. I'm taking a prerequisities class to get my associate degree in nursing(RN). I want to know while I'm taking these classes. I'm planning to leave my currently job as a Data Entry clerk and seek employment at the Hospital. I don thave any background in the medical field but I would like to get a job that is very flexible schdule so that when I'm admission to the nursing programs the schdule may varies but I want to know what kind of job can i get since I am not license do they have any job that they can offer pre nursing student at the hospital? I am sure most hospital will work around our school schdule but want to know what job I can apply for that will benfit me while I am in school.

Unit secretaries do not need a liscence, depending on the hospital they may work around your schedule, also support positions in the hospital like transport, etc may be a good idea for you. CNA/PCA usually reqiures a liscence but some hospitals here will send you to the course and pay for your state test as long as you agree to work for them, maybe something to check out...here in Ohio, one of the hospitals I applied at had a 4 week training if you are NOT a CNA and 2 weeks if you are...good luck:)
