Hello Everyone I need help. I have been searching on line to see if i can apply for ajob at any hospital. I'm in school working on my nursing degree.. by the fall of 2006 i will be taking my nursing course however everytime I look online I dont see anything that they will be willing to train student that don thave any medical background but taking thier basic course right now do anyone have any suggested what I should do. it look like it hard to find a job working at the hospital thank

Hello Allnurses, I have a few questions about becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I only have a year left to get my ADN. Do I have to get by Bachelor in Nursing then Master to become a Pediatric Nurse Practionier is there any option beside that I Just want to focus on the Pediatric area to become a Nurse Practionier. Can Nurse Practioner open up their own doctor office? I am looking to hear from from yall soon. I really desire to work my way up to Nurse Practioner then I am only 26 year old :)

Hello Everyone, I would like to find out what is the duties of becoming a Pediatric Nurse? It is stressful? What are the Pro's What are the Con's What area are good to start off once I graduate which leave me a year and half with a ADN degree in Nursing? What are the benefit of being a Pediatric Nurse? Can I get a job working as Patient Tech at the children's hospital until I graduate to get some kind of hand on experience? I desire to become a Pediatric Nurse when I graduate in a year and half and want to find out more information about their work and what I should be prepare before entry the workforce Thank you so much for taking the time to response.

thank for replying I hope that I can do more being a Pediatric nurse I have not decide in what area but my desire it to be there for these kids and to treat them with love and give them hope that God care for them and there is healing.

what is the benfeit of becoming a Pediatric nurse? I only got a year left to get my ADN degree and my desire is to become a pedi nurse and thinking maybe become a pediatric nurse practioner someday but I will just start of with my RN get some experience then go consider in getting a PNP.

There is a lab require for this course I am not sure how that work I havent went to the orentiona yet the class start on Aug 29 2005 so I will find out about the lab and how it work before we start our class. wow that a great place to start off... I am going to try to get into the tech position. I just dont want to make less than 12 dollar an hours due to bills and childcare. I also got a AS degree in business I was thinking either get a job doing using my business degree in the medical field until I get my Associate degree next year or should I go head and start off as a tech so that where i am trying to weigh my option i just need a flexible schdule becuz in May 2006 that when i start my nursing classes along with clinicinc and the class various some day some noon time some night so that is why i wast hinking about going into tech becuz I am sure they will work with student

I went on line browsing and I notice they have a postion as a nursing service techinican postion in the Pediatric operation room and I wonder how much they will pay for those that is a student studying to become a Rn any advice will help Nicole

I have a question about what is the different between a tech position and a cna. I'm pre nursing student got a year left to get my associate degree in nursing and I want to get a job that is flexible before i admission into my nursing course because the classes are various. Right now only have 5 left to finish my pre quisties courses and I just need an advice about these two position because I desire to become a Pediatric nurse but right now my focus is finding a flexible job that will work around my schdule before taking my nursing class

I need advice how to maintain good grade I only have 5 left to finish my Prerequisites class before admission into the nursing class and I will be taking Human Anatomy and Physiology I online in the fall and I need advice how to maintain good grade and how to study them because I believe it will be a challenge course for me any tips, advice will be great! My goal to pass all my classes with A and B and I pretty much concern with Human Anatomy & Physiology I &II and Microbiology I just want to keep a great GPA so that I can enroll in the BSN once I grauduate with my Associate Degree in Nursing (RN)

I have one question. I'm taking a prerequisities class to get my associate degree in nursing(RN). I want to know while I'm taking these classes. I'm planning to leave my currently job as a Data Entry clerk and seek employment at the Hospital. I don thave any background in the medical field but I would like to get a job that is very flexible schdule so that when I'm admission to the nursing programs the schdule may varies but I want to know what kind of job can i get since I am not license do they have any job that they can offer pre nursing student at the hospital? Hi jess91877 As I begin to read your post and the other response. I want to tell you that you are not alone. I'm fixing to graduate with my Associate Degree in business and I ask God what next he told me to go into Medical field, I said Lord what area in the Medical field he said Nursing and I said what area in the nursing field he said Pediatrics. As long you are doing GOd will he will bless you and empower you to reach out to the sick, and to show our compassion to those that need the love of Jesus in us. I dont have any medical background at all but GOd is leading and guiding me as well I have 6 class left to get my Associate of Arts degree that is require in the state of Fl in order for me to transfer to a university to work on my RN-BSN degree so I dont have any knowlege but GOd is going to strenghten me and help me make good grade. WHen GOd tell us or call us in a particluar field we have to either obey or not and I choose to listen to God. I am also a missionary at my church as well so you are not alone trust me God is going to use you in that field and by us being a child of GOd we can minister the gift of healing and let GOd anointing flow through us and the job will get done. I am very exciting about this career but I am also praying that I can go full time and not have to work full time because this is a whole new career and degree but I believe God is going to grant my request because the school that I am fixing to go to I must maintiain a 3.0 GPA and I'm also a single mother my daughter is 4 year old so with God we can do anything... Just seek God and ask him what the best route to do and he will lead and guide you contiue to seek him moment by moment and just before you know it he will speak to you spirit in what to do.
