Can facilities see a nurse's career history?

I wonder if a facility can see the history of all one's nursing jobs that previous had.

Generally, it's called a résumé.

I mean, if he/she does not tell a certain facility he/she had worked for in the resume, then the new job could not know about it?

I've been told that if they do a background check, they can determine where you worked by your SS#.

I was once told by a recruiter that I shouldn't omit a short stint at the nursing home from hades because they would be able to find out about it if they did a search on me. Don't know how or if its true but nonetheless that's what I was told.

Background checks often include work and a type of credit check including criminal history. Hence if you received a pay check it will appear. Many employers ask for full employment history. Others ask for past 5 years. Read the application before you sign stating its full & accurate

Yes I think so. Back when I was an aide I had orientation at this place and they gave me my file and they had print out all the places I worked and when ... I was shocked. Just before that orientation I had a job offer that I accepted but then changed my mind about BC of distance and just didn't go to their orientation, and that facility is on the list too. Anyway . The state must keep track of where you work because as an aide , your license is current as long as you work 1 day a year, or do so many ccu's , so the nursing homes have to report when you work
