Calculating VTBI amount based on KVO

Okay, I have a question about the VTBI amount. If you have an order for like NS to run at KVO, and the P&P manual says KVO is like 10 ml/hr, would you set the VTBI to be 240 ml? I got that from the fact that a bag cannot hang more than 24 hours times the KVO rate. I am just curious and is there a smaller bag of NS than the 1000 ml ones for the purpose of KVO?

Where I work, all IVF come in 1000 ml, 500 ml, and 250 ml. So, yes, you could hang a 250 ml bag to maintain KVO rate at your facility for 24 hours.
