I live about 45 miles from Big Rapids. It is a really nice town. Although I know nothing about any LTC facilities in the area, The hospital received a major overhaul in recent years and is very beautiful. I have a friend who works there in L&D and she loves it.
It is Mecosta General Hospital. I do know that the pay is lower than what I get in Ionia and the benefits are not as good as what I am used to. But this is true of northern Michigan in general.
Good luck! Vickie

I'm south of Michigan in Ohio, but what I would suggest is contacting the Commerce office in that town and get a list of Nursing homes in that area. It might not be called Commerce depending on the size of the city, it could be town hall. Also, maybe that town has a web site.
Good Luck!
Actually I did contact the chamber of commerce and they are sending me some info....
I was just hoping to get some info from people in the area. :)
Vickie without giving me what you make...what is the pay under? I make just about $14 an hour here.
Thanks for answering...I appreciate the help :)
