Any CCNs out there?

Nurses General Nursing

Good morning! I am curious about the CCN credential. I believe it stands for 'certified(?) clinical nutrition'. A physician acquaintance is one, says he works mostly with DM and oncology pts, and suggested I look into this specialty, as nurses can get this credential. I didn't notice it in the nursing specialty forum (or I missed it) and am curious as to what a nurse CCN would do? [Not talking about a CNSN/nutrition support]. Thanks!
