Not only no raises, but my prior employer was cutting wages. Actually REDUCING the amount of pay for more work as the charting requirements for Medicare get more cumbersome, they expect the nurses to "make the time" and take less pay. Guess who suffers? The nurse and the patient.

But yup.

We all need to ponder well if doing the dance now will really be in our best interests in the longer term (e.g., maybe a year down "the long and winding road").

Consider how much we like our jobs, peers, sups, location, commute, bennies, learning opportunities, growth potential, job diversification, etc.
