Hello ... No one has posted anything here yet so I hope I'm not the only sunshine state nurse!!! I'm in Tampa and working as a CSU nurse at a hospital in Bradenton. Hope to go to NA school this spring!
Any other Floridians out there?

Not a nurse yet, but I've lived in Florida my entire life. I currently go to Florida State Univ. Hope to move to the Tampa/St.Pete area after graduation.
I know there are some other Florida folks around. Maybe they'll stop by and say hello... :)

Hey Guys! This is the first time I've posted, but after seeing the other Floridians out there I just had to. I am two semesters away from being an RN at Florida State University. (Todd, where are you at in your schooling?) Working in the term nursery/mother-baby unit at the local hospital and loving it!!! Can't wait to hear from more of you Florida people out there!

Hi Melissa! I will be starting the nursing program next Monday. Finished my last pre-req this summer. I'm so glad to see another FSU student on the board. You're going into your second year, eh? Have you enjoyed the program? I don't know anyone in the program, so I'm not really sure what to expect. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi!
I am a 1998 graduate of FSU Melissa and Todd! Nice to see others so close to home. I currently work for an agency providing services to the Developmentally Disabled. I do all the staff and client training. It is so much fun! It is great to get up each day and enjoy going to work =)

Hey,
I am a student in Florida. I have applied to Florida States University for the spring 2004. The university seems to be okay. I heard that it is highly competitive. I have completed all the prerequisites for the bachelors degree. Let me hope FSU will accept me for the Spring.

Good luck! It's supposed to be a little easier to get in for the spring. I think they usually get less applicants.

Hi everyone! I'm a travel nurse ( tele-PCU-ICU). I travel only in FL. Ive been from Naples to Winterhaven, currently in New Port Richey. My permanent home is Sarasota. I'm very happy to see all the students on this board. Please share your clinical experiences and concerns. I love interacting with students and learn so much from them!!
