I have been looking to see if there are any threads about this already so I apologize if this is a double post!

Anyone apply for spring 2012 at St Petersburg College?

Hi everyone! This is my first post on this website! The deadline just approached for St. Pete College and PHCC's RN program. I am superrrrr nervous! I applied with a 3.77 prereq GPA to PHCC and a 3.609 prereq GPA to SPC. PHCC required the TEAS test which I got an 88 (98th percentile) in. But after reading a few other threads, I am not confident at all! I figured I can freak out on here with some other applicants as we anxiously await our future!! has anyone else applied to these schools? If so, what were your stats?? Also, anyone know when "the letter" will be sent out?? Good luck to everyone!!!

Hi jennymarie,

I am with you, I have just started my prerequisites and I am getting mixed messages about the programs and the requirements, from scores on teas to the GPA. Keep your head up.

I applied as well but doubt I'll get in this round as I am still taking Micro & Statistics. I don't have anything to lose and it took all of 5 seconds to apply, so I just went ahead and did it. Good luck everyone!

Did any of you apply for Baycare's EAYL program?

Just wondering...did any of you apply for Baycare's EAYL program?

Hey there! I am in the same boat with you guys. I applied to PHCC for the Jan session RN. I got an 83 on my teas and a 4.0 on my prereqs. I am freaking out and need that letter as well. I am not sure if that will make the cut, ya know. I actually called PHCC and they told me there were 150 applicants for the Jan 2011 session!

How many of you if any are doing the transition program? I am an LPN so I hope that the bridge program is not as strict. I really really want to get this chapter of my life started.

Gatoraims, just out of curiosity, if you have your LPN license why don't you do the lpn-rn bridge?

I did apply for the lpn-rn bridge. I did the LPN route because I had been denied at HCC for the RN program back a few years ago. I figured this route would maybe make it easier to get accepted.

Good luck!

Does anyone know how many students applied for the RN Jan 2012 program? or the bridge program?

This is what I understand from LPN's or ptec lpn students that I am taking pre reqs with...... The lpn-rn bridge is first come first served if you have an lpn license then you go straight into the program. No competition or anything.

I am going to post this on all three SPC threads......Anyone know if there is any way we can consolidate them?

From what I understood that is how it used to be. The advisor I did talk to said that the transition program allows for easier acceptance. So I guess we will see. I could be wrong in the information I got but I think that they changed the requirements for both RN programs. I hope I am wrong. :)

Maybe a mod could combine them.
