U.S.A. Florida

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

ughhhh this has got to be the slowest process ever!!! Still no points posted!! Im going crazy!!

Finally my points got posted!!!

Finally my points got posted!!!

Yey!! When did you turn your application??

I turned mine in on May 23 at 3pm.

oh great! latisha just replied my email and said "you submitted your application on monday, june 4, 2012. applications can take 7-10 business days to process at the earliest your application information will post the week of june 18th"... but wait a minute! first, i submitted it on friday may 31 after my hesi, around 12 o'clock. and she said i did on june 4th and it is after deadline. omg! now im so worried, it could be a deny app because out of date. goshh! it would not be fair, second time an appl denied? oh no! i dont know what to do! trying to get in is gonna make me crazy :sniff:

Monablue, Don't worry so much. Your application being turned on the 4th is acceptable because the 4th was actually the deadline this time (Even if you really turned it in earlier). The first fell on a friday so they accept the applications up until the next monday. We should all try to relax a bit because its not making this any easier lol!

Thanks mjmommy23! Your word make me feel better...Every day we are close to the big moment but until then, our neurons and nervous (or mine) are gonna collapse :uhoh3: Anybody is planning to ask for financial aid? I was but know I had the surprise that having more than 120 credits or so financial aid is not available. Anybody knows if it is true or what other options nursing student has??? You know...making already plans

Specializes in MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, FNP-C.

monablue that happened to me too. they said i had too many credits so If i get in ill probably just get a loan from somewhere else. I didnt see any other option.. Im sure ull be fine also!

its funny how were all stalking this site lol

So, good news, my points finally posted! Bad news...it says Incomplete! There is an x next to transcripts received. PBSC has all my transcripts I have been going there for 2 years. The only thing I can think of is that I put I went to FAU. I only was there for 4 weeks and had to leave on a medical dismissal. This didn't give me a withdraw or anything just dismissed. Like I was never there. I put FAU down cause it said you had to list everywhere you ever went or your application was void. I was worried if I didn't write it, my luck, it would be voided. Instead now they say app incomplete cause no transcripts. I have NO transcripts from FAU, Never have, never will. I don't know what to do, and I already emailed leila. No response. I should have never wrote it down, but I didn't want to lie. Technically i went there, officially I didn't. I am screwed

Really? So it is true? Holly molly! UUgggh! It is no nice. I think that if we are a lot of credits is because we really are interested in studing and we want progress in additions a we are a great contribution for this society. Instead of many many others that just ask financial aid to get some money and after weeks of classes just drop or get a C with the purpose of a new term for more money. Well... better start to work and find out how Im gonna get the money from. The important is get in :D

Hey tosh2mosh, I think when you withdrawal from a class whether medical or any other reason, it still shows withdrawal on the transcript, I would call Latisha asap!!! Check your myfau.fau.edu to see if anything you took is on there.

Is anybody running into this problem!?: when I check my status it says complete. I can see all the points I received, but there are 2 giant red X's on Florida resident and pbc resident! I've lived here all my life and have attended pbsc for the past 2 years! I called the office and left 2 messages I also sent an email! Those are 2 points off my total!!! yes I am bugging out.. :/
