Hi everyone, this is a thread for the January 2013 PBSC students. I know October is right around the corner, so I am a little frazzled right now. I am preparing for the HESI and have purchased the HESI study guide. Haven't made it to the mandatory information session as yet though. Also I was wondering if the Pro-Calc is a required test for new students as well. I didn't see anything online on testing dates etc for that. Is it similar to the HESI?

Yes I got it too! I also talked to a friend who also applied and she also got it. I think everyone who applies gets it. Not something I wanted to read right before we find out though!

Yes i got it too. Had a mini heart attack when i saw i had an email from the school!! Ughh they need to hurry it upppp already

Thank you for the info. I'm going to try to take it the first semester then, I've heard that it can be a difficult course if you have a lot going on and I currently work full time as a CNA. Any advice on which professors are good for that course?

You can pm me we can't talk about specific professors on message boards I took it online during 1st semester

I freaked out, I thought it might be an e-mail that was targeted to people who were not going to make the cut. :( I just want the "accepted" e-mail.

Hi jagostino...Did you ever receive a response from the limited access program? I had the same problem with my app not updating and after emailing Leila several times with no luck I called the office there at 868-3639. I spoke to the secretary (can't remember her name, sorry) but explained that my app was not updating correctly and I was unable to reach Leila. She was very helpful and hand delivered the message to Leila and got back with me that day. The issue was also resolved that day. So if it hasnt been taken care of you may want to try this route so that your app isnt overlooked. Good luck!

Thanks, knuquist! My points posted today, but they're wrong and I'm freaking out. They only gave me 8 points for the hesi, but I should have 10 because I scored 92.86%. I sent an e-mail to Leila and just left a message at the number you posted. Thanks, again!

Did you talk to anyone that gave you the friday date or are we just hoping? I'm so anxious... I'm going on vacation soon and I am so nervous that its going to post and I'll have no idea for close to 2 weeks!

No I haven't heard anything about Friday, but it seems like everyone's points are posting! So wishful thinking lol

I just want to know if I got in so I can start planning for this drive to Belle Glade, not too excited about it but hey!
