Pay rates for Orange Park/ Jacksonville

Good Morning everyone!

While it's very early to be asking I was wondering if any of you have worked in the Orange Park/ Jacksonville area and what you started out at as a brand new nurse....

Reading the other posts has my curiosity itching....thanks!

I was a brand new nurse in Jacksonville in February '06. I started out at 18.75, I received .50 more for having my bachelors and $3.25 for working night shift. A total of 22.50 an hour. I was working at Baptist Beaches. But in 2 years I am sure they have increased the pay.

Shands and Mayo Clinic paid more for new grads and Memorial and St. Vincents paid about the same. Good Luck!

this is an older post, so some information may be inaccurate, but it gives you an idea on what you may get as far as pay. :)
