Pay for New RNs in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties?

U.S.A. Florida

Published

I've read some of the older and closed threads discussing pay.

However, few have discussed mainly SE Florida (Palm Bch, Broward, Miami-Dade).

Differentials: night shifts, weekends, holidays, OT?

At which hospitals?

Thanks!

I've been trying to get the same info for experienced nurses. Generally, it seems like most ppl don't want to answer questions about pay. Good luck!

Weird.

LPNs down here make about $19-20. So, my guess RNs make about $25 and up.

Older threads range from $20 -30.

But I'm interested to hear what the different hospitals pay down here.

I would like to stay close to home here in the south palm beach (Boca/Delray) area.

But I'm willing to travel within the tri-county area...so all replies are welcome.

Newer RNs down here, please share.

Thanks!

Hello? I know you're all out there. Please share.

I'm in broward and make that much as an lpn. That's really low for an RN.

Non-profit in eastern pbc. Started on telemetry making $19 while on orientation (8 weeks). Then 21.40 for a year. My annual raise got me 21.80. 3.00 for weekend, 3.5 for nights. Hope this helps.
