Hi!

I am going to be starting the LPN program at McFatter very soon and I had a question about the uniform (the scrub top). I noticed that the scrub top has collars. Do we have to wear the top with the collar sold at the book store or can we purchase a top with similar color (no collars) from somewhere else and also stich the patch onto the scrub? The only reason I am asking is because the scrub that they sell at the book store is not my size.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but congrats on passing the science part of your TEAS! :up: I remember you posting about this section of the exam.

I've briefly glanced at the uniforms while on campus... was a bit turned off by the teal/white combo. I'm going back to the bookstore tomorrow to buy Core book/supplies so I might be able to obtain that info for you. If so, I will post here.

Another idea... did you try calling Rachel? What about Uniforms For America (954-478-6343)? This is the uniform shop listed on the school supply list. They should be able to tell you if they carry your size and what alternative tops are approved by McFatter.

So... Are you also starting Core on the 27th? If so, did you choose the day or evening/online course? I'm registered for the evening class and am soooo excited! I can't wait to start! (1 more week... 1 more week!)

Thank you so much for replying to my post. It is so nice to hear from you. I know, I am especially not too keen on the collar on the scrubs. I looked at the white pants at the book store but I really like the wide leg so I purchased the pants from Uniforms of America. I showed them the top but they said they did not carry that particular top.

I am exempt from the core but I am starting my class in the mornings. I hope we get to meet oneday.

Hello! I am considering going to Mcfatter in January if I do not get into the RN program @ BC or FAMU. The orientation I will be attending is sept. 24 and i just want to know how the TEAS were? I just took the HESI @ FAU in august and just wanted to know if it is similar to the TEAS? i was exempt from the TABE test because I have a two year degree from BC (A.A. degree in nursing).

I am currently @ FIU to bring up my GPA for BC & FAMU's program but if I do not get in I will continue with Mcfatter. Also, FIU just closed there LPN to BSN september of 2008 because I would have been applied if they kept it going.
