  1. Hi! Dark_Light, Thank you so much for replying to my post. It is so nice to hear from you. I know, I am especially not too keen on the collar on the scrubs. I looked at the white pants at the book store but I really like the wide leg so I purchased the pants from Uniforms of America. I showed them the top but they said they did not carry that particular top. I am exempt from the core but I am starting my class in the mornings. I hope we get to meet oneday. Good luck with everything.
  2. Hi! I am going to be starting the LPN program at McFatter very soon and I had a question about the uniform (the scrub top). I noticed that the scrub top has collars. Do we have to wear the top with the collar sold at the book store or can we purchase a top with similar color (no collars) from somewhere else and also stich the patch onto the scrub? The only reason I am asking is because the scrub that they sell at the book store is not my size. Thank you so much for all your help.
  3. I guess I do not have enough privleges because when I click on your name I only get 3 options: 1. Add to buddy list 2. View profile 3. View all your posts. I did add you to my buddy list though.
  4. Hi! Future ER RN, Since I am new to this forum, I do not know how to use the private message button. Do you know how I can send you a PM or an email? Thank you so so much.
  5. I just came back home aafter taking the test and I am sad to say that I failed again. It was basically the same test again.
  6. Hi! That is wonderful and it is an excellent score. I am so so so so so happy for for you. Congratulations!:yeah::yeah: I am going to be taking it tomorrow and I am worried sick about it. I still haven't figured out the mountain question as well as I do not know how to put the DNA & RNA chains together. Please keep me in my prayers. I will let you know how I did tomorrow. Congratulations and Good Luck with everything! P.S. I do not know why I did not think about this before but I just went to this website http://www.nineplanets.org/venus.html and figured out that venus is the planet with the closest atmosphere to earth. I am in panic mode right now and am trying to remember as much as I can. I just want to pass. I hope I do.
  7. Oh! I get it. Thank you so much for letting me know. I am like you too. I hate waiting also:chuckle Good Luck to you. I will let you know how mine went next week. Have a good night and a great weekend.
  8. Oh! Good, I am so glad to hear that. I am really happy for you. Why are they making you wait till Monday? I hope I get my grade right away otherwise I will really be panicked as it is I am always panicked. lol.
  9. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That must be such a wonderful feeling for you. I took mine about 2 weeks ago and I did well on 3 out of 4. I failed the science section and reading about your test it seems like we got the exact same test. I did really really badly and I am retaking it again next week. I hope I will have good news to share too next week. Congratulations again and good luck with nursing school.

  12. Hi! Dark_Light, Thank you so much for replying to my post. Congratulations!!!!!!!! on passing the TEAS exam. I am really very happy for you. I am hoping and praying that I pass it this time too. Also congratulations on being accepted in the program. Thank you so much for all the wonderful information that you provided me. It really helps me understand the program a lot. Thank you so much and good luck with everything.
  13. Hi! Thank you so much for replying. I am so excited to see your post because you helped me remember a lot of questions that I had forgotten. I had a really embarassing score in science (It is so low that I am embarassed to tell you) I found everything hard even the clouds and the rocks. I also remember the question about the earth's resemblance. I am going to look it up and as soon as I find the answer I will post it here. I remember the choices of Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter. Are you taking it this Thursday? Good luck to you and thak you so much for posting. I am going to be taking mine next week. P.S. A few more questions I remember after going through this forum are as follows: 1. The question on Sympathetic and Parasympathetic 2. The physics question on pulling a rope or something like that 3. The question on rain
  14. Hi! Dark_Light & Favored1, I am also looking to start in the LPN Program at McFatter. Dark_Light did you take you TEAS in September 24th @ McFatter? If yes, then I was there with you too =) I did well on Math and the 2 English but I failed Science. I need to retake it next week. Science really really scared me. Unfortunately I cannot remember any of the questions . I just remember one about that mountain expanding and the autotroph one as well. I heard that there are 5 semesters at McFatter for LPN but it is done in a year. Do you know how long each semester is? Also are clinicals at a different times than class times? Thank you so much
  15. Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum. I just came across it looking for some help with the TEAS Science. I took the TEAS exam last week. I passed Math, and the 2 English but failed Science. I was expecting to get a break in between each section but unfortunately the school I took the test in did not allow any breaks! the tests were back to back and after taking reading and math, I was exhausted by the time I got to science. I do not know why but after I came out, I completely blanked out on the questions from science. The one question, I have a vague memory of was the one with the picture of three mountains and it was something about them expanding. Did anyone else have that question? I also remember the question about autotrophs and something like that. I am going to be retaking the science again next week and am worried sick. BTW some questions on the reading section completely threw me off. I had two that they wanted me to copy the question on a sheet of paper, then put a circle on the ones with the even number, erase the odd numbers and then chose one of the correct answers after you turn the picture 90 degress another question was similar to that but now I had to turn it 180 degrees clock wise. Math was also quite difficult because we were not allowed calculators. Good luck to everyone taking the exam.
