Hillsborough Community College Fall 2012

Well, I have confirmed with the nursing department that they received my acceptance of an alternate seat. So now all I can do is wait...and hope that I'm close to the top on the alternate list and that some people start giving up seats!!

Anyone knows what's the best time to get finger print done to avoid long line and get a parking? Thanks

I went around 10 on Thursday and there was no one there waiting. I parked in the visitor parking lot next to the regular school parking, and it is only $1 for up to 3 hours. You usually can't find street parking unless you're REALLY lucky! Make sure you have your form, and fill out the back to make it quicker.

Oh, and they cashed my check!! :). Wonder how long until we get our campus assignment letters?

Got my finger print done today! hope everyone is getting things done pre orientation:)

It is weird to not register for our nursing class! Because indeed 12 hrs to be full time with pell, I registered for ethics. I hope the class/teacher is as good/easy as ratemyprofessor says!!

Hoperevialist....I applied for PC nights weekends and I'm moving to Sarasota which is closer to Ruskin. I may want to change with you when class assignments come out if your interested. Email me your phone number [email protected] When we get class assignments we might me able to switch out.

I sent an email to get info about clinical hours and campus assignments. The email I got back said hours will be revealed at orientation, and we will hear campus assignments end of May. sucks for trying to plan!!

Does anyone know when we'll get an answer from the appeal commitee for those of us that filed an appeal. Also, can anyone tell me when orientation will be held for those of u that got accepted. By the way, congrats to all of u ladies and gentlemen that got a spot the first time. My GPA was miscalculated cause they counted College Algebra where I got a C instead of counting Calculus for Business where I got an A. My GPA would've been 3.57 had they counted it right the first time, which would've meant an alternate seat instead of a denial letter...lol. So I'm hopeful I still have a change to get in for August cause the healthcare industy desperately needs male nurses like me

Orientation will be in the last week of June. Campus assignments are going out end of May and appeals must be finished before that.
