I am applying for fall too. I was told they estimated it will take somewhere around 83-85 points to be competitive. Only time will tell, there are loads of applicants

I've also heard that the average points were arond the mid or high 80s. I know its really competive. Im taking the hesi next week and if i dont score a 90.5 or higher i don't get in the program:(

im taking the hesi next week also and i need a 90.50 also to apply. im gonna have a 79 or 80 all together. i called collier and she told me that 80 points is not bad some people got in the program with that number. You can never tell your 60 average may not be good this year but it may be good next years....its a guessing game!!!...but i pray that you pass and get accepted into the program!!!!

hi,

I took the hesi yesterday and recieved an 89 that only gives me 45 points. and my total points are 85. Do i have a chance of getting in? Please respond truthfully. I have to notify my work and i can't tell them i going to be in school in the next few weeks and then find out i didn't get in. So please if you know that an 85 isn't high enought tell me. Thank you and good luck to everybody else. Please respond ASAP

I don't think you can ever get the yes or no answer you are looking for. Every semester, more students apply and the point number to be accepted goes up. I can tell you I know a person who was admitted to the Collier day program 2 years ago with an 81. I was told by the Collier day program director that last fall 'the minimum accepted person was 3.5 GPA with 6 courses, and an 85 on the Hesi.' By my math that equals 70 points. So go figure? I have heard there are MANY more applicants this year. Believe me, I wish I knew what I will find out in 2 weeks!

Good luck!
