Are there any nursing homes or hospitals that offer on the job CNA training in or near Orlando? If not where are some schools that offer CNA training? Thank you

Try the Red Cross, or the local tech schools.

CNA or PCT certificate programs are harder to find than they used to be...most schools are transitioning to medical assistant programs. I can only say for sure that this school still offers a CNA-PCT certificate program:
Orlando Tech, Downtown Orlando (I did my CNA here in 1998)

Hope this is helpful...

If you want to take the CNA Florida State Exam, I would recommend you to take a week class at CNA KWIK TRACK. The class is small, instructors are great. You are even allowed to practice as much as you need and you can seat in extra classes at no charge. This course is very effective and the price is very affordable. I think they charge less than most schools in the Orlando area.

There are several prep courses in the Orlando area for challenging the state exam. Florida doesn't require students to take a full course--they can challenge the exam after taking a challenge course and pass with no problems.
Check craigslist for them--several are listed daily. I know this is an old post--but thought others might want to know where to look. Those on craigslist often offer discounts.

You should try Matrix Educational Center. The prices are reasonable and you can pay in payments. They are located at 2120 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32804 (407) 420-2125.
