I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!
OMG...Process I Exam 2 DONE!!! Halfway there...Anyone out there???? PLEASE somebody tell me that Exam 3 & 4 get easier???? Now time to study for return demo...Have a great weekend everyone!!!
Congrats!!! Depends on who's your instructor. It doesn't usually get easier. Keep chugging though and good luck on return demo!
Return demo is "return demonstration". You will have one hour to demonstrate skills chosen by your instructor. It's either pass or fail. If you fail then you have to do a retake. If you fail the retake then you have to withdraw from clinicals. It was freaking stressful when I did mine!
Is it random or assigned? Do you have to use the whole hour or is it just the capacity of time you have to complete the demo? This seems like a lot of pressure. Does the Professor demonstrate it in class (sim lab) before you all go to clinical and practice what you have learned? Are you all hands-on at clinicals? Sorry for all the Q's, just want to have a general idea. Thanks.

The professor will demonstrate it on your first and second clinical day and then you practice up until demo. :)
