Hey Everyone!

Anybody out there applied for the August 2009 class? I know there are a couple of people on here including myself who are deferred until August. Where r u guys at?! Good luck to those who start classes tomorrow and good luck to those anxiously waiting the May 15th application deadline!

Side note- Can ANYBODY please tell me why the faculty at BC are sooooooooooo mean?!?! :angryfireI just left the north campus and some of them act like I just killed their mother! I'm trying soo hard to be nice, but some of them make me wanna take my earrings and heels off and jump over the counter!! :smiley_abj/k lol

thanks and good luck to you!!

Thanks. You, too!

Which is the best campus to choose out of all of them?

Hmmm,....

gonig to BC....well if you have not figured it out yet,

this is just the beginning...of the sort of treatment you will have to endure.

Sooo,...you may want to do, as many students have...( both graduates and those now present in the program)

We tell ourselves "SUCK IT UP and HANG TUFF!" cuz the hoops get smaller,.and some days you will find yourself jumping through them while the are on fire.

As with any progam, or class.."THIS IS ONLY A TEST !"

If you want it,.. you can make it happen..this obstacle may be the biggest..

So keep focused and keep your eye on the goal....

ALSO... prayer and meditation, along with alot of studying, works well for me.

hmmm...BCC, oh boy my body reacts negatively to the name. I wish you all all the best and I hope you hang tough.

is it really that bad guys

I want to scream now....I just stopped by BC's health science admission office and asked about HOSA points just to make sure...and only to be disappointed when I was told that in order to get these points you would have to had taken HOSA within 2yrs....I graduated high school in 2004 so the only thing I would get is a waiver for the core classes.....ahhh :banghead:

I did not know that wow.. All this time I was thinking it did not matter..

Hey! i actually def. my seat from may to aug 09 as well. I feel so anxious and nervous at this point after hearing all these stories about BC's Nur Pro.... Then they wonder why there's a shortage in nursing.... it's because they're out to get us based on the stories flying around these threads. Well im prepared to take the bull by the horns and ride this ***** for what it's worth lol! i've made a decision to get a tutor this summer b4 i begin the first semester in aug, im def not taking any chances with BC's most talked about staff!

Where did you find your tutor???

i forgot to answer your other question. i am planning to go to north, but thats the campus i live closest to, so that was how i made my decision. the program is basically the same at both campuses, but i keep hearing north is better, too. i think it has to do with the professors, but i still really don't know why they say that. north does allow more students than the other campuses.

so if north is better does that mean when you apply for the program, you have a better chance in getting in if you select north... or the selections for campus' are done way after you are in... like in orientation

there are tutors available on north campus at the lrc in the library.

you choose a campus when you register for your first course.

so the campus that you select helps determines if you are selected or not

no. you apply to the nursing program. when you get accepted, you are in the program. when it is time to register, you register for the campus you wish to attend. then, you are supposed to stay at that campus for the entire program.
