I applied for the school and now I'm studying for the TEAS V. I will be taking it in March 12. I applied for the LPN 3 years ago and got accepted on the first try but I had to quit because I got pregnant. I hope this time I get accepted again..

Hi. I'm not going for the October 2011 program but I'm trying for the Jan 2012 program. I'm also registered to take the TEAS March 12. Did you purchase the study guide? I'm so nervous!

Yes I purchased the book and have been studying from time to time . As the days get closer I will focus more. The science and the math part is hard. I suggest you buy the book and start studying. We have about 3 weeks left. I was thinking of applying for the evening class but I see what happens. I guess we'll be in the same class room on March 12. I took the TEAS before and failed the math and science part but in this school is graded differently. We only need an overall 60% so that's not that bad..

I actually just got my score back from the test on feb 12th, I passed! I will be in the October 2011 class. I was so nervous I did not know they had switched to the TEAS V. I hope you guys do well, I got a 76.7%.

BTW I am Currently a PCT student at Brewster

Have you taken the older version of the TEAS before taking TEAS V? If yes, do you think the TEAS V is easier? What do you think about the exam? Did you studied hard? I really hope I pass and get in for the October class. If I do, I will be seeing you there..

I have never taken the TEAS before. The guidance counselor said the TEAS V is harder that is why they lowered the passing rate down to 60%. Based on the study guide and the online test I bought, it is harder. Good Luck!

I bought the study guide too and am intimidated about the science. Also the math since we can not use calculators! I also just ordered the McGraw-Hill Nusing School Entrance Exams too. Someone said there are a few more practice tests in there. When did they change the score to 60%? I thought everything I have read from them says we need at least a 70%. :uhoh3:

p.s.

@ DNC...Congrats on passing!!

Hi. Did you take the test this past Saturday? I was there. I got my results this afternoon. I passed!! How about you?

OMG the science part was so hard. I'm very depress because I really thought I passed it but I didn't. I got a 52%. I still can't believe I scored that low.. I'm happy you passed.. I'm will be moving to NY but I wanted to pass because there's two private colleges that has that test..

I know! I did the worst on that part. From what I had been reading on here I thought it was going to be the shortest section but it was the longest! I'm sorry to hear you didn't pass. Well, the good news is they tell you specifically what to study when you take it over. Hopefully that will help. Good luck on your move. :)
