I read the admission prereqs and it says that you need statistics, anatomy, physiology and microbiology - is that all? Do you know if it is A&P I and II? I didn't see any course codes.

I had planned on applying only at JU and UNF but I may apply at UF too if those are the only prereqs.

Yes, it's definitely A&P I & II, I checked with admissions about that already. They do require the GRE which probably makes up for the fact that they require less prereqs than other schools.

You meant 2010 right? The 2009 hopefuls are already deep into their semester and they have not been heard from since before they started in May! .... I will be done with prereqs Dec as well. As for the GRE, I have no clue when I should be squeezing that in! With a full-time job and taking a whole year of A&P this summer, I'm going bananas ... LMAO! I have a 2 week break between summer sessions and the fall semester, perhaps I can do a cram session then and slowly build up to it. Hope to take it by Nov LATEST, I think that will be OK, ya think?

Paco, I waited until early January to take the GRE since I decided at the last minute to apply to UF as a backup. You will be fine if you take it by November. However, I bought a prep book and halfheartedly crammed for it. I've always been pretty good at standardized tests, and only got a few wrong on the verbal section of the SAT in high school. I was surprised by how hard the GRE was! I had to study while working fulltime too and taking pre-reqs at night, but if you are serious about getting into UF, know that they place a lot of weight on your GRE score and try to allow time to study.

Has anyone visited the school - are there tours available of the facilities for the nursing program?

Julwh, not aware if the school offers tours, although I would have to guess that you might at the very least be able to arrange a campus visit. I'd be interested in that as well. Galore I believe is an alum of the school, she might be able to let us know.

Galore, THANKS for the GRE advice!
