Need help!!!

I desperatly want to find a flight nursing job!!! I live in Indiana and have five years of ER experience-- my entire reason for going into nursing was to become a flight nurse!! Is it just that there is no turnover and that is why there are no positions to apply for?? Any insite on this matter would be greatly appreciated!!

Can you move? Sometimes that opens up new doors. Sad to say at least in our area, flight positions are few and far between. Good luck.

Check out Flightweb. There are tons of positions open although most of them are out west. Also, do you have the qualifications? Check the job forum on Flightweb and check out the job requirements. They'll let you know what you need and what you can work on getting so you are ready if a position opens up in your area. If they require three years or less experience DO NOT APPLY!!! Check safety records as well. Have you considered ground CCT?
