Hi guys new to the form have been reading for sometime now. I have a question if anyone could help. I have an interview for a flight nurse position and was wanting to kinda get an idea on what the test would be like. I worked in EMS for 8 years before attending nursing school, and have worked in critical care for 5 years as a RN. Since I do have a background in the prehospital setting, this makes me feel more comfortable. I was just wondering what to expect on the employment test. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Somewhere on here I posted a detailed answer to the interview question. It shouldn't be too hard to find for a motivated applicant.

  5. Depends on the service.

I took a 150 queion test that was similar to the CCEMTP exam.

Then, I had to complete three scenarios and do a "sim man" RSI exercise.

Next, I did an interview where several employees asked me questions in a round robin type interview.

Finally, I did an interview with the service medical director.
