R.N. INTERNSHIP - JANUARY, 2014

For new graduate nurses and other R.N.'s with no acute care/hospital experience interested in pursing a career in hospital nursing.

We will begin interviews in February, 2014 and will make hiring decisions by May, 2014.

All new hires will be expected to attend the full Internship, which will begin on June 9, 2014.

When you apply, please indicate your top 2 areas of interest within the "Additional work experience..." section. We do not guarantee interviews or positions in any area, and will know more at the time of interviews.

Areas to choose from are:

Emergency Services (ER - cross-trained to float to ANY/ALL ER locations)

Medical (Tower 4)

Surgical (Tower 3)

Stroke

Telemetry

CCU via Telemetry Bridge program

Oncology

Women's Services (L&D, Post Partum, Nursery, Pediatrics)

Rehab

Operating Room (OR)

perhaps those having trouble getting there first gig and willing to relocate to St. Joseph Regional Health center in Bryan, TX, this may interest you.

Any ways, if anyone has advice for an RN with a yr of M/S on how to land an OR gig, LMK!! :wacky:
