Hi everyone..I graduated in May of this year, took the Kaplan review and took my Boards this morning. I felt confident going into the exam but after knowing for sure that I got a couple of very simple questions wrong I think I must have failed. The computer shut off at 88 and its eating me alive wondering if I actually did pass or fail... Im pretty sure i passed the last question but i dont think that really means anything...funny, I didnt have any math questions at all either..They say you can find out in 2 business days which means tommorow is a holiday and then the weekend so it will probably be Monday if not Tuesday before I find out. Just wanted to get this off my chest to ease the post-test anxiety. If anyone has had a similar experience I would love to hear about it. Thanks and good luck to everyone who has yet to take their RN boards.

Pearson Vue is open for business on Veteran's day. You can still check for quick results with them. Good luck!

Specializes in Orthopedic Surgical Unit.

I took my test on a Friday, and found out my score on a Sunday night.

I felt the same way about feeling like I failed. There was not a single question that I felt confident on, and I felt like I was totally guessing all the way thru. But I passed, to my surprise. I was preparing myself mentally to take it again when I found out that I passed. I told myself that if I fail, then I'll just take it again. Many excellent nurses have taken it more than once, and your patients will likely not ask you how many times you took it. It happens to doctors, lawyers, nurses, airline pilots...you passed nursing school and your clinicals...you have the skill.

Best wishes.

I Just took my boards for the 3rd time and I graduated with a 3.9 so the boards say nothing of your knowledge, let alone competency, I had 112 questions this time, left the exam knowing I failed and found out today I PASSED!! Hang in there, its tough, the test is nothing compared to the waiting I know, but Im sure you passed. Let me know and good luck
