Hi - requesting tips for cover letters

I will be finalisng my degree in June this year. I will be sending out my resume along with cover letters to a few hospitals. I was wondering if I could get some tips to help me with what to say on cover letters.

Look forward to your reply and thanks

so, the time has come! i keep a file of this kind of stuff and i am happy to share it with you. when it is time for you to prepare for interviews i have a bank of interview questions. i was a nursing manager who interviewed and hired nurses as part of my job. anyway, here are a bunch of links i put together for you. basically, keep the letter short and confined to one page, use it to on expand something you couldn't put on your resume or job application that you feel is important for the prospective employer to know about you. to put it humerously, your letter should tell all about why you're fabulous and a perfect fit for their hospital or healthcare facility. my best wishes to you, kiddo. i think you're going to be fabulous at where ever you end up working!

Hi

I think you got what you needed for a cover letter...but I do have 1 thing to add.

Use a nice linen paper to send out your resume. (my husband is a printer and this is his pet peeve). Don't use plain old white copy paper. You can get a nice pack (with matching envelopes) and your local office supply store. The nice paper and matching envelopes is very professional.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Thank you both so much. I truly appreciate your help

all the best

;) :)

Day to Nite

I am actually ready for those Interview question please if you dont mind sharing. I will be going for two interviews in two weeks time.
