I can't imagine it ever hurting your chances.

Oh I mean, it's such short notice for me to contact them and make them mail a letter to me to bring. Would it be okay if I just print their names and contact info to give to the interviewers (if they ask).

Have your reference info ready. Meanwhile, if you want letters of reference, arrange for your overseas contacts to prepare them for you, and you will be prepared for your next round of interviews. Good luck.

What about email? Print it, give their info with it so the interviewer can confirm.

I don't think it's standard...but it's better than nothing.

Thank you Callioter and Max, those are good suggestions. I already contacted two of my clinical instructors who are now based in the US and they gave me their contact info to put into a list of references. Maybe I should ask them to make a letter? The interview is only 4 days away and I was only able find out how to contact them today.
