I went on an interview today at a local nursing and rehab center very close to my house (10-15 minutes away). The interview went really well on both accounts..I loved the facility and it seemed very homey. I even saw one of the girls I went to school with working there! Well, they offered me a job on the skilled nursing/rehab/subacute unit!! I'm so excited! I totally forgot to ask her about vacations and benefits, so I emailed her with my questions when I got home. It feels weird to have been offered a job on the spot, but I don't have much experience so I don't know how things work. I've only had one job before and I've been there for 5+ years. Tomorrow I give my notice and I start at the new job on June 20th!! Also gotta pass the NCLEX before then too :)

I went through this website for suggestions of interview questions and prepared for every possible scenario. Basically wrote out all my answers like an exam. Then I went through that before each interview. She asked me why I want to work in a rehab unit, and what my greatest strengths are. It was a pretty easy interview - I've had much worse!
