Typically how many days from an interview that went well is it reasonable for you to hear something back?

Depends on how many people they're interviewing, which seems to have increased these days. You could always do a follow-up call to thank the recruiter, and find out. Good luck!!

Hmmm.. I'm not sure. The people from my class were usually offered the job on the spot from the main hospital hiring the new grads. I applied and interviewed at a family practice, got called within 5 mins of receiving my fax and set up an interview. Went to the interview, and the next day I got a phone call offering me the position.

It really depends. I have had jobs that hired on the spot, and I have also had jobs where (especially with government jobs) they would call me 6 months to a year later to offer me a position. Most typically it's withing a week to two weeks.

For my student nurse internship I applied in March...heard nothing.....got a call in mid-May, went to the interview like three days later, it went fairly well....heard nothing for a week, then another, then another. I called to follow up and got voicemail...no one called me back. A few days later I got a call offering me the position! I was shocked...so I guess I'd say it can take weeks!
